The EDM aims to bring leaders to the next level of lean thinking by showing the role of culture awareness. Guests will understand the pure principles of Kaizen directly from Genba observations at Toyota and other Japanese organizations.

Objectives
- Understand the background, structure, and intent of the Toyota Production System
- Work together to analyze and address real challenges brought by participants
- Experience world-class manufacturing environments and observe leading operational practices
- Explore Japanese culture and the historical roots that shaped Toyota’s management system
- Build strong connections and shared learning with fellow participants

- Spend a day in the dojo immersed in lean simulations and open dialogue with former Toyota leaders
- Visit foundational sites to see the origins of lean and understand concepts that can only be appreciated in person
- Be guided throughout the week by experienced professionals trained within the Toyota system
